My Personal Command Style

We am somebody who will start using a systematic way of fix a problem. I try to figure out the actual cause and discover viable methods to resolve it. I will plan a plan of attack and place a established objective to labor towards to eliminate the problem. I follow and get input from all affected by the issue and contemplate just how my decisions will effects others. This sort of leadership declines under the Participative Leader category and is called a Consultative Leader.

All leadership styles is going to experience equally strengths and weaknesses. The secret to becoming effective is to recognize what strengths and weaknesses can be found in your person style. You should capitalize with your strengths and find out to minimize the weaknesses. Yet , all frontrunners must figure out how to receive suggestions from other people of their staff and definitely listen to the actual have to say. This allows the leader to get a diverse range of problem solving abilities that could be extremely beneficial to the team as a whole. Talents

A strength found within the consultative style is the use of a teamwork approach. Associates collaborate to complete the task at hand. One of the most knowledgeable team member on the provided subject will usually take the business lead. The additional team members can participate in making decisions and work towards a common objective. The administration team allows team independence and does not micromanage.

Secondly, consultative leadership gives positive encouragement when associates are eager to assume responsibility. This leads to staff loyalty. Consultative leadership enables the team to benefit from the perception of the team members without the real management group losing the ability to make business decisions. They members consider responsibility and accountability and work to get the project completed with pride since they were offered empowerment inside their job. Weaknesses

One major weakness with consultative leadership style is there is no total point of direction by team innovator due to cooperation with the associates as a whole. This could lead to poor quality of work in the event the team member is definitely not educated or assured on the offered subject. Therefore team members has to be accountable and a lack of motivation can cause deficiencies in employee connection. Also, they members may become more dependent upon the leader to perform tasks. The more contributions by team members produces more time involvement then intended when initiating participation coming from team members, which leads to holdups hindrances impediments in the solving problems process. Likewise, the more participation from team members can hinder the decision in the end and ultimately cause damage feelings if you do not take every single recommendation into consideration. The leader is put in an difficult position plus the team members issue the responsibility of the leader.

Comparison

Many command styles are present and, for that reason alone, people need to recognize and discover their own style. Once it had been done, they could handle command situations and exist in a group.

A management design where the leader makes the decisions independently is known as an autocratic style of managing (Foster, 2002). This type of management style is going to reflect the personality from the leader. The leader's opinions will be discovered in all the decisions that are made. This sort of management design does not consider the rest of the group or subordinates. Thus, yield rates tend to be higher with this type of leadership or management style. However, a persuasive leader will try to convince other associates of the group to understand the advantages of the decision the fact that persuasive innovator will be making.
